Thread Solutions for Different Areas
PDO threads are extremely effective and rewarding but mastering the techniques can be challenging. Using the right threads and tools is therefore important. We help take the guesswork out of choosing which threads to purchase for different areas and treatment goals. Resculpt PDO threads are designed not only to perform well but also to enable the practitioner to perform the procedure well. It is easy to be mislead by the myriad of technical innovations from other companies that sound impressive but in practice can be a hindrance to performing the technique and getting proper results. Resculpt PDO threads are designed for ease of use and to optimize the technique in order to obtain superior results. They are suitable for providers of all skill and experience levels. There is also a wide range of PDO threads for versatility allowing treatment of many different skin types and conditions so that all patients can benefit from PDO threads. Training, certification and support are available complimentary with purchase of PDO threads to further ensure best results.
BOOST Braided Mesh Threads
Available exclusively by Resculpt Medical Threads, these 19G threads are the thickest braided threads on the market. 8 threads are braided together and loaded on a cannula. They stimulate enough collagen to serve as a safer alternative to filler for areas that need skin tightening as well as volumization. There is no risk for necrosis due to arterial occlusion and results appear more natural than with filler. There is also minimal downtime with these threads. They are very easy to learn how to use compared with barbed or cog lifting threads. They are ideal for new practitioners or clinics who would like to provide more powerful thread treatments than monothreads but do not have staff who are comfortable with barbed threads.
FOR UNDEREYE, NASOLABIAL FOLD, MARIONETTE LINE, CHIN, BROWBONE, CREPEY SKIN:
FOR NECK,JOWLS, BODY:
Taut-Up Threads
Formerly named Titan, our strongest threads are 18G and available with bidirectional cogs or barbs. The molded cogs are best for body or thicker skin such as arms, thighs and abdomen to promote improvement in contour and skin tightening. The barbed threads have the barbs arranged in a 360 degrees helical pattern spiraling around the core thread (see video). This allows for superior fixation while helping avoid attachment too deeply to muscle which would cause pain and limit lifting or too superficial fixation to skin that causes severe dimpling. The barbed version has the thread completely encased within the cannula so that the cannula can be retracted and reinserted for correction of placement. The tips of the both the barbed and molded cog versions are rounded and smooth to promote ease of passage.
Precision-Pull Threads:
Available exclusively by Resculpt Medical Threads. These threads have a specialized design that allows precise placement to target fat pockets in the jowls or other areas in the face. The tip is slightly sharper to allow smoother passage through scar tissue or for more precise placement. The threads are also preloaded entirely within the cannulas with a stopper to keep thread inside until ready to deploy thread. This design allows for multiple passes to ensure correct placement and ideal for practitioners of all skill levels. These threads are available in multiple sizes with barbs that are bidirectional. The barbs are arranged in a helical pattern spiraling 360 degrees around the core (see video). This allows for superior fixation while helping avoid attachment too deeply to muscle which would cause pain and limit lifting or too superficial fixation to skin that can cause severe dimpling.
FOR THICKER CHEEKS AND JOWLS:
FOR THINNER CHEEKS AND JOWLS, EYEBROW AND FOREHEAD LIFTS
Gentle-Pull Threads
Formerly named Arrow, these threads are designed for immediate attachment to the target region for approximation of tissues promoting contour improvement, lifting and skin tightening. These threads enable more efficiency and shorter procedure time. They are available with bidirectional barbs and in thinner gauges allowing for more forgiveness in thin skin. The shorter 60mm versions can be used for the eyebrow and forehead as well. These threads have the barbs arranged in a helical pattern spiraling 360 degrees around the core (see video). This allows for superior fixation while helping avoid attachment too deeply to muscle which would cause pain and limit lifting or too superficial fixation to skin that can cause severe dimpling.
SPRING Threads
These threads are mono threads that are shaped in spring configuration to allow for more thread to be inserted for more collagen stimulation than mono threads while still having the versatility of monothreads in terms of locations where they can be used. They are available in various lengths and calibers. They are ideal for necklace lines.
FOR NECKLACE LINES:
PROFILE Threads
These threads are specially designed for use in the nose. The barbs are placed closely together and serve as struts for stretching and holding tissues forward and upward for increased anterior projection of the profile of the nose. There are two types. One is used to lift the tip of the nose. The other is to raise the bridge and create more forward projection.
FOR NOSE LIFT:
